SanDisk GamePlay: microSDXC 190 / 130 MB/s
SanDisk states up to 190 MB/s read and 130 MB/s write, in microSDXC UHS-I, with the U3, V30, A2 and Class 10 markings. The A2 rating speeds up access to thousands of small files on devices that support Command Queuing, such as a recent Android device, a Steam Deck or a PC. The gain does not carry over to Linux-based retro consoles, whose Allwinner and Rockchip chips do not support this feature; an A2 card can even be slower than an A1 on them. It is aimed at Android handheld consoles that launch their apps from the card, the Steam Deck, smartphones and tablets.
One point to read before ordering: it does not work on Nintendo Switch 2. Nintendo only accepts microSD Express cards on this console. A standard microSD can neither save nor load games and save files there; it is only used to import screenshots and videos from a first-generation Switch. On the first-generation Switch, however, it does work, although the console does not make use of the 190 MB/s, as its card reader tops out lower.
Two capacities are available: 256 GB and 1 TB. On a Linux-based retro console formatted in FAT32, the 1 TB requires a compatibility check first: this format limits each file to 4 GB, and not every console accepts cards larger than 512 GB. SanDisk covers this card with a limited lifetime manufacturer's warranty, under its own terms.

What SanDisk states
SanDisk states up to 190 MB/s read and 130 MB/s write, in microSDXC UHS-I. The card carries the U3, V30, A2 and Class 10 markings. It measures 14.99 x 10.92 x 1.02 mm and comes with a limited lifetime warranty.
Which capacity to choose
Two capacities: 256 GB and 1 TB. The 256 GB is enough for a well-stocked Android handheld console. The 1 TB is aimed at the Steam Deck and portable PCs that install recent games weighing several tens of gigabytes.
What it doesn't do
It does not store games on Nintendo Switch 2: this console only accepts microSD Express. The 190 MB/s is a peak in sequential read, not a sustained speed. No SD adapter in the box.

Does the A2 rating really make a difference on my console?
A2 speeds up random access, that is, loading thousands of small files. It is useful on an Android handheld console that launches applications from the card. On a Linux console that mostly reads large game files sequentially, the gap is much smaller. And a host that does not implement A2 behaves as it would with an A1 card.
Does it work on Nintendo Switch 2?
No, not for games. Nintendo is explicit: the Switch 2 is only compatible with microSD Express cards. A standard microSD can neither save nor load games or save files there. It is only used to import screenshots and videos from a first-generation Switch.
And on the first-generation Switch?
Yes: the Switch, the Switch OLED and the Switch Lite accept microSDXC UHS-I. They will not take advantage of the 190 MB/s, though, as their card reader is slower than the card.
How does it differ from our Nintendo-licensed cards?
The GamePlay is clearly faster: 190 / 130 MB/s and the A2 rating, versus 100 / 90 MB/s without A2 for the licensed models. Those use older chips, sold at a higher price per gigabyte because of the licence and the artwork.
Should the card be formatted before use?
Yes, format it on the device that will use it. Leave about 10% free space and never remove the card during a write or an update.
What is the warranty?
SanDisk states a limited lifetime warranty, under its own terms. It is not expressed as a number of years.
