What it protects
Three elements share the work. The rigid EVA shell stops crushing. The absorbent foam soaks up knocks and holds the console in its recess. The elastic mesh keeps the cables apart, and cables are the number one cause of screen scratches when everything travels loose in the same compartment.
In everyday use
The rubberized zip pull opens the case into two half shells. The console sits in the molded slot, the cables go into the mesh on the flap. Don't force the zip if the mesh is loaded. The non-slip texture of the shell keeps it from sliding off a car seat or a table. 15.5 cm long: this is a bag-pocket format.
What it doesn't do
It covers the RG353V and the RG353VS, which share the same chassis. The other RG353 models, such as the RG353M or the RG353P, have a different format and are not held by the molding. The console cannot be charged inside. The mesh only takes flat items. No drop resistance is stated.
