Xayah, feathers that cut
Xayah does not dance: she plants. Her feathers drop to the ground, get called back and tear through the line at the moment she chooses — a positional carry who sets up her fight before starting it. The artwork picks up that imagery of cutting feathers rather than a tidy portrait. On a keyboard, 12 keycaps are enough to establish the idea: a line laid across the movement block, or a diagonal cutting through the typing area. The set stands on its own, for anyone who plays the champion and wants her under their fingers, and not only as a companion to a Rakan set.
A cut-out pattern, and how it goes on
A drawing made of edges and fine feathers is judged on its outlines: as soon as the print sits on the surface, the edges end up chipping. Dye-sublimation avoids the problem — heated, the dye sinks into the PBT instead of being laid on top, there is no raised layer, nothing can be felt under the finger, and the marking does not fade before the keycap itself. PBT is denser than the ABS fitted as standard on most keyboards, with a matte grain. Fitting is on the MX cross-stem (Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu), OEM profile row by row, puller included, on AZERTY as on QWERTY.
What this set does not turn your keyboard into
The Xayah set does not turn a keyboard into a duo accessory: it is sold on its own, so is the Rakan set, and 12 keycaps cover one area without covering the keyboard. Keys with a manufacturer-specific width are not included. Nothing fits a membrane keyboard or a low-profile keyboard with a scissor mechanism, which have no MX cross-stem. This is not a backlit set: dye-sublimated PBT is opaque, the light passes around the keycaps and not through the legends. The OEM profile does not match a keyboard built in Cherry, XDA or SA. Finally, the Xayah artwork is a creation inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher.

Is this set compatible with my keyboard?
Fitting is on an MX cross-stem. Pull off one keycap: if the switch shows a raised cross, the 12 keycaps clip onto it. That covers Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and Outemu. A membrane keyboard or one with low-profile scissor-mechanism keys is not concerned.
How many keycaps does the set contain, and which ones?
12 keycaps in standard size, with no fixed layout: you choose the positions, from the movement block to the ability keys. Keys with a manufacturer-specific width are not included.
Does the pattern stand out on a dark keyboard?
A cut-out drawing is read first through its outlines. On a black case the eye follows the silhouette of the feathers rather than the background; on a white or light keyboard it is the other way round and the contrast turns sharp. The PBT's matte grain limits reflection either way.
How do you split Xayah and Rakan across one keyboard?
By separating the areas clearly rather than alternating caps: for instance Xayah on the movement block and Rakan on the ability keys. Mixed at random, two sets of 12 caps make for an unreadable row.
What are the set's weight and dimensions?
The manufacturer states neither weight nor dimensions. Both fields stay empty rather than showing an estimate. What's in the box is stated as 12 keycaps and one puller.
Is this an official League of Legends product?
No. This is an illustration inspired by the League of Legends universe, not a licensed product. The keycaps remain ordinary keyboard caps, independent of the game.
