Three colours, not one more
Vayne hunts alone, at night, and warns nobody. The set keeps that economy of means: a deep black, the dark red of the cloak, the cold silver of crossbow bolts, and nothing more. Three colours, no ornament, a composition you can read from a metre away without it shouting. That is what makes it rare among champion sets: it holds up on a clean desk in light wood or matte white, next to a black keyboard, without turning the station into a convention display. The audience looks like the character, the player who bets on positioning and the late game rather than on flash. The Vayne artwork is an original design inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher.
Fitting, when discretion is decided by the millimetre
On a restrained set a badly placed cap shows immediately: profile comes first. The OEM profile follows the row-by-row angle of pre-built keyboards, so each key goes back on an equivalent row, otherwise you feel a step as you cross. It mounts on MX cross-stem switches, meaning Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and Outemu; the included puller slides diagonally around the key then pulls straight up, from above, without opening the keyboard. As for material: PBT, denser than factory ABS, matte grain, pattern dye-sublimated so it enters the material without leaving any relief. AZERTY or QWERTY makes no difference.
Discreet doesn't mean universal
A restrained palette gives the impression the set will go anywhere: it doesn't go anywhere. Twelve keys dress one area and leave the rest of the keyboard as it is, and the difference in shade against your original caps stands out all the more because the whole thing is quiet. Keys in manufacturer-specific widths are not covered. Without an MX cross-stem there is nothing to do: neither a membrane keyboard nor a low-profile scissor-switch keyboard. On a build in Cherry, XDA or SA profile the height doesn't land right. And the red doesn't light up, dye-sublimated PBT being opaque. The Vayne artwork is an original design inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher: not a licensed product.

Will the set go on my keyboard?
Look at the switch under a cap: a raised cross means an MX cross-stem, and the twelve keys clip onto it. That covers Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and Outemu. A membrane keyboard or one with low-profile scissor switches does not have that stem.
What's in the package?
The stated contents are 12 keycaps and one puller. Standard format, free placement on the keyboard; keys in manufacturer-specific widths are not part of it.
Does this restrained palette suit a light desk?
Black and the deep red keep their contrast against a light wood or white worktop, provided the keyboard is dark. On a white keyboard the twelve keys become an isolated block, and the set's silver is then the only connecting point.
What does the artwork show?
The register is that of the night hunt: crossbow, bolt and cloak, rendered in three colours across the twelve keys. It is an original design, not a reproduction of any in-game visual.
How do you keep them clean?
A soft cloth, lightly dampened, no solvent. The pattern has passed into the material through sublimation, so it doesn't come off with rubbing: nothing to peel away and nothing to seal.
Is this set an official League of Legends product?
No. The set is based on artwork inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher, and it is not a licensed product. The keys are ordinary keyboard keycaps.
