Description complète
USB-A to USB-C cable: the spare lead for your retro handhelds
Anbernic, Miyoo, TrimUI, Retroid: for a few years now, almost all retro handheld consoles have charged via USB-C. This USB-A to USB-C lead plugs into any mains charger, PC port or power bank you already own. Four lengths: 0.3 m for the carry bag, 2 m for playing plugged in from the sofa.
What it does
- Four lengths: 0.3 · 1 · 1.5 · 2 m. The short one stays coiled up with the power bank in your bag, the long one lets you play while charging.
- USB-A plug on the source side: works with the chargers, USB power strips, PC ports and power banks you already own, with no adapter.
- Flexible PVC sheath: coils back up without keeping a kink and takes up no room in a carry case.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't charge faster than the console accepts: a retro handheld generally draws 5 V / 1 to 2 A, and it's the console that decides, not the cable.
- The supplier's listing claims “120 W / 10 A” and, two lines further down, “6 A”. These figures are aimed at proprietary phone chargers and are undocumented: we don't repeat them.
- This isn't a USB-C to USB-C cable. It won't plug into a charger that only has USB-C ports, and it doesn't unlock full Power Delivery charging.
- No video output: no DisplayPort Alt mode, no dock, no external display. The USB-A connector doesn't allow it.
- The data transfer rate isn't documented by the supplier. Use it for charging, not for emptying a microSD card.
Compatibility
Any device that charges via a USB-C port: retro handheld consoles (Anbernic RG35XX and RG40XX, Miyoo Mini Plus, TrimUI Brick, Retroid Pocket), controllers with a USB-C port, power banks, earphones. On the other hand, it's no use for micro-USB devices — older-generation handhelds, most controllers from before 2019 — or Lightning devices: they need their own cable. On the source side, you need a USB-A port; a USB-C-only charger won't do.
Skill level required
None. Plug it in and it charges. No disassembly, no soldering, no settings. It's the backup cable to leave in the console's case.
In the box
- 1 white USB-A to USB-C cable, in the length chosen: 0.3 · 1 · 1.5 or 2 m.
- Nothing else: no mains charger, adapter or case.

The cable you always end up looking for
A retro handheld console travels, and what travels gets lost. The lead stays at a friend's place, gets stuck behind a piece of furniture, eventually stops holding in the port. The result: a machine full of games, flat, on a Sunday evening. A backup USB-C cable costs the price of a coffee and lives in the case, next to the console.
Four lengths, four uses
Length isn't a minor detail. At 0.3 m, the cable stays coiled with the power bank at the bottom of the bag, with no loop sticking out. At 1 m, it does the job on a desk. At 1.5 and 2 m, it lets you play while charging from a sofa or bed, with the socket far away. It's the only thing to decide before ordering.
What it won't do, said before you buy
The original listing promises 120 W and 10 A; two lines further down, it says 6 A. These figures are aimed at proprietary phone chargers and aren't documented anywhere: we don't repeat them. A retro handheld draws 5 V at 1 to 2 A anyway. It's a simple charging cable, USB-A on one end: no video output, no full Power Delivery, no documented data transfer.

Frequently Asked Questions
🔌 Will this cable charge my retro handheld console?
Yes, if it charges via a USB-C port: Anbernic RG35XX and RG40XX, Miyoo Mini Plus, TrimUI Brick, Retroid Pocket, and the vast majority of recent handhelds. If your console uses micro-USB, this cable won't be suitable.
⚡ Will charging be faster than with my current cable?
Probably not. The console sets the power it accepts, generally 5 V at 1 to 2 A. The supplier claims 120 W and 10 A: these values are aimed at proprietary phone chargers, they are undocumented and we don't repeat them.
📏 Which length should I choose?
0.3 m to stay coiled up with a power bank in your bag. 1 m for everyday use on a desk. 1.5 and 2 m for playing plugged in from a sofa or bed, when the socket is far away.
💾 Can I use it to transfer files?
The supplier doesn't document any data rate. Treat it as a charging cable: to copy files or empty a microSD card, use a card reader.
🔁 Does it work with a charger that only has USB-C ports?
No. The connector on the source side is USB-A. You need a charger, USB power strip, PC port or power bank with at least one USB-A port.
📦 What's in the box?
One white USB-A to USB-C cable, in the length chosen. No mains charger, adapter or case.
🚚 What are the delivery times?

🛡️ What warranty applies?
2-year legal guarantee of conformity. 14-day returns. French customer service, reply within 1 business day.

The 2-year legal warranty of conformity is handled by us — not by a form on the other side of the world. And 14 days to change your mind, with no need to justify yourself.
We do not claim to be the cheapest. We claim that you will know exactly what you are buying before you pay.
