Tempered glass for Retroid Pocket Flip 2: the screen stays clear after months in a bag
A clamshell console protects its screen when it's closed, but not when it's open on a table, nor against sand, keys or a stray fingernail. This tempered glass film adds a sacrificial layer with 9H hardness over the screen of the Retroid Pocket Flip 2, cut to the exact size of the display. It can be replaced in two minutes, unlike the screen.
What it does
- Absorbs scratches: the 9H-treated surface takes the rubbing of keys, sand and grit instead of the display.
- Dedicated cut-out: the template is cut for the Retroid Pocket Flip 2 (RPF2), with no overhang onto the hinge or the clamshell frame.
- Reversible application: silicone adhesive across the whole surface, removable without residue, and several films per pack so a failed attempt isn't stressful.
What it doesn't do
- It isn't drop protection: tempered glass limits scratches, it doesn't stop a display from breaking if the console falls while open.
- It isn't an anti-glare filter or a matt treatment: the finish is clear and glossy.
- Compatible only with the Retroid Pocket Flip 2 / RPF2. It doesn't fit the first-generation Flip, nor the bar-style Retroid Pocket models (4, 4 Pro, 5, Mini).
- The pack doesn't include a case or a pouch: it's a screen protector only.
- Applying it on a dusty surface traps particles under the film and creates bubbles that can't be pushed out. The number of films in the pack is your margin for error.
Compatibility

The screen is the part you don't replace
A retro handheld lives in a bag, next to keys, a charger and sometimes a cartridge.
