Description complète
Retroid Pocket 6 tempered glass: the panel takes the bag, the keys and the journeys
A handheld console never stays on a shelf: it travels in a bag, next to a bunch of keys, and it is always the screen that suffers. This tempered glass goes onto the Retroid Pocket 6's front glass, with curved edges that follow the curve of the panel and pre-formed cut-outs aligned with the model. It takes the scratches instead of the screen.
What it does
- Full-screen coverage: the glass covers the display area right to the edges, with no black band added across the middle of the picture.
- Pre-formed cut-outs: the openings are already machined for the Retroid Pocket 6, nothing to drill or trim.
- A sacrificial part: the micro-scratches land on the glass, not on the panel. When it is marked, you replace it for a few euros.
- Curved edges: the rounded border avoids a sharp ridge under your thumb and reduces the risk of catching and lifting.
What it doesn't do
- It does not protect against a fall: tempered glass takes scratches and small surface knocks, not an impact on a hard floor. For transport, what you need is a case.
- It does not erase scratches already on the panel — they will stay visible under the glass.
- No matte or anti-reflective treatment: the finish is glossy, and reflections outdoors do not decrease.
- It changes neither the brightness, nor the resolution, nor the colours of the screen.
- It fits no other model: the cut is specific to the Retroid Pocket 6.
Compatibility
Retroid Pocket 6 only. The other consoles in the range — Pocket 5, Pocket Mini, Pocket Flip 2, Pocket 4 Pro — have neither the same panel nor the same cut-outs: this glass does not suit them. No compatibility with Anbernic, TrimUI or Miyoo consoles.
Skill level required
No tools, no soldering, no disassembly. Allow five minutes in a dust-free room: degrease the glass, remove the last specks of dust, lay the glass down from one edge and let the adhesive settle on its own. Any remaining air bubbles are pushed out from the centre outwards; a bubble that stays in the same place means a speck of dust is trapped, so lift it and start again.
In the box
- 1 Retroid Pocket 6 tempered glass (« 1 piece » variant) or 2 tempered glasses (« 2 pieces » variant).
- The supplier states no fitting kit: do not count on a wipe or an alignment frame, plan for a microfibre cloth and a little isopropyl alcohol.

A console that lives in a bag
The Retroid Pocket 6 is not an arcade cabinet standing in the living room: it goes to work, on the train, on holiday, wedged between a bunch of keys and a charger. On a handheld console, the panel is the only part you cannot sand or polish without taking everything apart. Collectors know it: a scratched machine loses its value long before it loses any playing comfort. A sacrificial glass costing a few euros is exactly what prevents that.
What the glass changes in practice
Once it is fitted, you forget about it: the glass takes the rubbing of a pocket, the grains of sand and the micro-scratches that dull a panel within a few months. The curved edges follow the curve of the front glass, so nothing catches under your thumb during a session. The cut-outs are already machined for the Retroid Pocket 6, so fitting comes down to degreasing, aligning and letting the adhesive settle. The day the glass is marked, you replace it — the original panel has stayed as new.
The limit, stated before you buy
A tempered glass is not armour: it absorbs scratches and surface knocks, not a fall onto tiles. It does not erase marks already on the screen and it does not make the panel matte — reflections in full sun stay the same. It only fits the Retroid Pocket 6: the other models in the range have different dimensions. If you are looking for protection against falls, what you need is a hard case, not this glass.

Frequently Asked Questions
🎮 Does this glass fit another Retroid console?
No. The cut-outs and the dimensions are specific to the Retroid Pocket 6. The Pocket 5, Pocket Mini, Pocket Flip 2 and Pocket 4 Pro each need their own glass.
✋ Does the touchscreen respond through the glass?
Yes. A tempered glass of this type is thin enough to let touch detection through, with no particular setting to change on the console.
🫧 How do you avoid bubbles when fitting?
Work in a dust-free room, degrease the glass with isopropyl alcohol, wipe it with a microfibre cloth, then lay the glass down from one edge and let the adhesive settle on its own. A bubble that keeps coming back in the same spot means a speck of dust is trapped.
🎯 Do you have to cut or adjust anything?
No. The openings are already machined for this model: nothing to drill, nothing to trim.
📦 What is in the box?
One tempered glass for the « 1 piece » variant, two for the « 2 pieces » variant. The supplier states no fitting kit: plan for a microfibre cloth and a little isopropyl alcohol.
🔁 Can I take it off if I get the fitting wrong?
Yes, in the first few seconds: lift it by a corner, remove the dust and lay it down again. The adhesive loses a little grip each time it is lifted, which is why the 2-piece variant is worth it if this is your first time.
🚚 What are the delivery times?
Delivery in 10 to 18 days, ships within 3 to 5 days.
🛡️ What guarantee applies?
2-year legal guarantee of conformity, 14-day returns. French-speaking customer service replies within 1 business day. Breakage through use, however, is the very purpose of this sacrificial part and is not covered by the guarantee.
Why buy here rather than on a marketplace
It is a fair question. Here is the answer, straight.
Every listing is checked before publication: real compatibility, material, dimensions, box contents. Many models never make it into the catalogue.
A question about compatibility, a fit problem, a return: you write, a human replies within 1 business day. In French.
The 2-year legal warranty of conformity is handled by us — not by a form on the other side of the world. And 14 days to change your mind, with no need to justify yourself.
We do not claim to be the cheapest. We claim that you will know exactly what you are buying before you pay.
