Description complète
Retro-Bit Pro 2.4 GHz: the Saturn controller, with two sticks and no cable
This officially SEGA licensed controller keeps the D-pad and the six buttons of the Saturn controller, and adds two Hall effect analogue sticks, four shoulder buttons, Home and Select. It connects over 2.4 GHz with two receivers included: one for the original Saturn, one USB one for PC, Mac, Switch or Android. 500 mAh battery, white colour.
What it does
- Two receivers included: one receiver for the Saturn's controller port, one USB receiver for the other devices.
- Two Hall effect sticks: magnetic sensors, less prone to drift than a potentiometer stick.
- 3D Control Pad mode on Saturn: activated by a macro through the console receiver, for the games that supported the Saturn's analogue controller.
- Dual rumble motors: available with the USB receiver and in games that support it.
- Stated range of 10 metres: 500 mAh battery rechargeable over USB-C, 1 m cable included.
What it doesn't do
- No rumble on Saturn: the motors only work with the USB receiver and a compatible game.
- On Saturn, the sticks go through 3D Control Pad mode: only some games used it, the others are played on the D-pad.
- On an original Mega Drive or Genesis, the receiver included is not suitable: you need the Retro-Bit V2 receiver for that console, sold separately.
- No Bluetooth: on Switch, the USB receiver is required and the controller's indicator must be red, otherwise it does not respond.
- The triggers are digital, not analogue, according to tests by the specialist press.
- Retro-Bit does not publish a battery life: we do not state one.
Compatibility
Saturn receiver: original SEGA Saturn. USB receiver: Windows PC (D-Input and X-Input), Mac, Android, Nintendo Switch (red indicator) and SEGA Mega Drive Mini / Genesis Mini (red indicator). Original Mega Drive / Genesis: only with Retro-Bit's V2 Genesis receiver, not included.
Getting started
Plug in the receiver you want, press Start, then hold the receiver's Sync button until the indicators stay steady. Start + B changes the mode: red indicator for Switch and Mega Drive Mini, blue to enable the 3D controls of the Saturn games that support them. Charging is over USB-C, with a steady indicator once charged.

The Saturn controller, brought up to date
The Saturn's controller has remained a benchmark for its D-pad and its six buttons. This SEGA licensed Pro version keeps them and adds two Hall effect sticks, four shoulder buttons, Home and Select, to play on the original console as well as on PC or Switch. It is offered here in white.
On Saturn, with its limits
The console receiver plugs into the Saturn's controller port. There, the sticks go through 3D Control Pad mode, activated by a macro: only the games that supported the analogue controller of the time benefit from it. The rumble, for its part, only works with the USB receiver, never on Saturn.
A USB receiver for everything else
The second receiver opens the controller up to PC, Mac, Android and the Switch, where the indicator must be red. It also works on Mega Drive Mini. For an original Mega Drive, however, you need Retro-Bit's V2 receiver, sold separately. Stated range: 10 metres.

Frequently Asked Questions
🔌 How does it connect?
Over 2.4 GHz, only through one of the two receivers included: the Saturn receiver on the console's controller port, or the USB receiver on PC, Mac, Switch or Android. It has no Bluetooth.
🕹️ Do the sticks work on Saturn?
Yes, through the 3D Control Pad mode activated via the console receiver (Start + B, blue indicator). Only Saturn games designed for the analogue controller make use of it.
📳 Does the rumble work?
Only with the USB receiver and in games that support it. On Saturn, there is no rumble.
🎮 Does it work on Mega Drive?
On Mega Drive Mini, yes, with the USB receiver and the red indicator. On an original Mega Drive or Genesis, you need Retro-Bit's V2 Genesis receiver, sold separately.
🧲 What do Hall effect sticks bring?
They measure position with a magnetic sensor, with no contact track that wears out: they are less prone to drift than potentiometer sticks.
🔋 How long does the battery last?
Retro-Bit states a 500 mAh battery rechargeable over USB-C, but does not publish a battery life: we therefore do not state one.
🚚 What are the delivery times?
Delivery in 10 to 18 days, ships within 3 to 5 days.
🛡️ What guarantee applies?
2-year legal guarantee of conformity. 14-day returns.
Why buy here rather than on a marketplace
It is a fair question. Here is the answer, straight.
Every listing is checked before publication: platforms actually supported, stick technology, connectivity, what the controller does not do. Many models never make it into the catalogue.
A question, a pairing problem, a return: you write, a human replies within 1 business day. In French.
The 2-year legal warranty of conformity is handled by us — not by a form on the other side of the world. And 14 days to change your mind, with no need to justify yourself.
We do not claim to be the cheapest. We claim that you will know exactly what you are buying before you pay.
