Rakan Keycaps: the only set in the range designed to come in pairs
Rakan and Xayah are two halves of the same visual identity: feathers, warm red, gold, with patterns that echo each other. Buying both sets and installing them together gives you a result no other pairing in the collection can match.
Three possible layouts
- Left / right split: Rakan on the WASD cluster, Xayah on the right-hand keys. The keyboard reads as two blocks.
- Alternating: every other key in the same row. A bold graphic look, best kept for keyboards where you don't hunt for your keys.
- Rakan on its own: 12 keys are plenty to dress up your gaming area. The set works perfectly without its counterpart.
The palette
Predominantly red-orange with gold highlights, on a dark background. It's a warm set: it pairs well with a black or charcoal gray keyboard, and clashes with a bluish or purple base.

Two questions
Do both sets have exactly the same keys? Each set covers 12 keys; installing both doubles the area covered, not the variety of positions.
Is the red bright or brick? Warm and saturated, with orange in the feathers — closer to coral than burgundy.

Rakan never plays alone
Rakan heads into the bot lane with Xayah, opens the fight, dances around it and brings his carry back alive. He is a character of movement, feathers and showmanship, and the artwork leans on that stage imagery rather than on a head-on fight. The 12 keycaps are enough to mark one area — the movement block, the ability keys, the flash key — without repainting the whole keyboard: exactly a support player's move, taking the right spot rather than every spot. Fitted on its own, the set reads as a wink; placed next to the Xayah set, on the same desk or on two keyboards, it tells the whole pair.
Dye-sublimation put to the test by fine detail
Artwork crowded with feathers and fine lines forgives no print that merely sits on the surface. Here the pattern is dye-sublimated: heated, the dye sinks into the material instead of being laid on top. There is no raised layer, nothing can be felt under the finger and no edge can chip. PBT is denser than the ABS fitted as standard on most keyboards, and the surface starts out with a matte grain. Fitting: MX cross-stem (Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu), OEM profile to be put back row by row, keycap puller included, everything from above without opening the keyboard. The 12 keycaps go wherever you like, on AZERTY as on QWERTY.
What the Rakan pair does not do
Buying the Rakan set does not make Xayah appear with it: the two sets are sold separately, and 12 keycaps cover one area of the keyboard without covering the whole of it. Keys with a manufacturer-specific width are not included. Nothing fits a membrane keyboard or a low-profile keyboard with a scissor mechanism, as there is no MX cross-stem. This is not a backlit set: dye-sublimated PBT is opaque, the light passes around the keycaps and not through the legends. The OEM profile does not match a keyboard built in Cherry, XDA or SA profile. Finally, the Rakan artwork is a creation inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher.

- Claviers compacts 65 %, 75 %, 96 % et 98 touches : leur Maj droite est raccourcie à 1,75U ou 2,25U, la Maj 2,75U du set ne s'y monte pas. Les 7 touches 1U se posent sans difficulté
- Clavier AZERTY ISO : la touche 2U fournie correspond au Retour arrière, pas à la touche Entrée, qui est en L sur un clavier français
- Ne convient pas aux claviers à membrane, aux claviers à touches basses (low profile) ni aux switches à tige propriétaire
- Les légendes ne sont pas rétroéclairées : le PBT est opaque, la lumière du switch passe autour de la touche
- Le profil OEM ne s'aligne pas avec un clavier monté dans un autre profil (Cherry, SA, XDA, DSA) : une marche reste visible
- Création de fan art inspirée de l'univers League of Legends : ce set n'est pas un produit sous licence officielle

Tapis et keycaps : bon usage
- Tapis : une légère odeur de caoutchouc peut être présente à l'ouverture. Elle disparaît en quelques jours à l'air libre.
- Tapis de sol : posez-le sur un sol propre et sec et vérifiez qu'il ne glisse pas.
- Keycaps : petites pièces, ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 3 ans.

Is this set compatible with my keyboard?
Fitting is on an MX cross-stem. Pull off one keycap: if the switch shows a raised cross, the 12 keycaps clip onto it. That covers Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and Outemu. A membrane keyboard or one with low-profile scissor-mechanism keys is not concerned.
How many keycaps does the set contain, and which ones?
12 keycaps in standard size, with no fixed layout: you choose the positions, from the movement block to the ability keys. Keys with a manufacturer-specific width are not included.
Does this set look good on an RGB keyboard?
The pattern lets no light through: dye-sublimated PBT is opaque, the backlight escapes around the keycap and draws a halo. On artwork this densely detailed, steady, restrained lighting serves legibility better than a multicolour cycle.
Should I take the Xayah set at the same time?
No: the two sets are sold separately and work independently. The duo makes sense if you play bot lane as a pair — one set per player, Rakan on the support side, Xayah on the carry side.
What are the set's weight and dimensions?
The manufacturer states neither weight nor dimensions. Both fields stay empty rather than showing an estimate. What's in the box is stated as 12 keycaps and one puller.
Is this an official League of Legends product?
No. This is an illustration inspired by the League of Legends universe, not a licensed product. The keycaps remain ordinary keyboard caps, independent of the game.
