USB-C power board for PS2 Fat: replacing a tired internal power unit
The internal power supply unit of a PS2 Fat is more than twenty years old: it is a part that heats up and ages. This USB-C power board takes its place in the console, which is then powered by a USB-C charger instead of the mains cable. It is aimed at PS2 Fat SCPH-3xxxx and SCPH-5xxxx consoles.

The job: replacing the original power supply
In a PS2 Fat, the power supply is an internal unit connected to the mains. After twenty years, it is a part that wears out. You open the console, remove this unit, install the USB-C board in its place and close it up. The console is then powered by a USB-C charger.
