LeBlanc keycaps: the set that started the collection
Every range has a founding piece, the one that sets the tone and serves as the yardstick for everything that follows. For our League of Legends keycaps, it is this purple and white set. The other models grew out of this one, with the same technical base and the same way of translating a champion into twelve keys.
Why this one became the benchmark
The Deceiver offers an ideal palette for a keyboard: a deep purple that holds up on a black frame, a pale white that keeps legends readable, and mirror and double motifs that add depth without overloading. Many champions call for graphic compromises; this one carries over to a keycap almost as is.
The template used by the whole range
This set defined the format used ever since: PBT rather than a soft plastic, DYE-SUB printing rather than surface marking, twelve keys focused on the gaming area, an OEM profile to stay compatible with standard keyboards, and a keycap puller always included in the box. Every new champion in the collection follows these same specifications.
A good first keycap swap
If you have never touched your keyboard's keys, this set is a comfortable entry point. Installation is done by hand with the puller, there is nothing to desolder, nothing to configure, and it is fully reversible: your original keycaps can go back on at any time.
Purple illusions
The design plays on the Deceiver's tones: saturated purples, light mauve, cool white and fine silver lines that evoke the reflections of a double. The whole look stays understated despite the color, which is why it works just as well on a white keyboard as on a black one.

What the range led to next
The Ahri keycaps carry the same softness, shifting it toward pink. The Syndra keycaps use purple in a more energetic version. The Irelia keycaps head toward blue and aqua green for anyone who wants a change of color family.

Do you need to know the champion to enjoy the set? No. The purple palette and the artwork stand on their own, even for someone who doesn't play.
Can you add to it later? Yes, that is the whole idea of the range: the sets share the same profile and the same compatibility, so they combine without any difficulty.

LeBlanc, the Deceiver, on twelve keycaps
LeBlanc is never quite where you strike her: a clone slips left, she reappears on the right, and the target is already down. She is a demanding midlane champion, played by people who like short windows and combos learned by heart. The artwork picks up her codes — deep purple, ink black, gold linework echoing the mask and the robe. So the set starts from a dark base, and that is a setup decision: on a black keyboard it merges into the case and only the legends stand out; on a white keyboard it cuts a purple zone into the middle of the board that the eye finds instantly.
A dark base: legibility, printing, fitting
On a dark set everything rests on the light legends: they have to stay readable at an angle, under a lamp placed to one side. They are dye-sublimated (DYE-SUB), so diffused into the plastic rather than laid on top: no layer to chip, no ridge under your fingernail. For fitting, pull one key off and look at the switch stem: a cross means an MX cross-stem — Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu — and the set clips straight on. The profile is OEM, the one fitted as standard on most mechanical keyboards: each row has its own height, so keep every key on its own row. Fitted by hand, keycap puller included, no glue or soldering, reversible.
What twelve purple keycaps will not do
This set does not replace a keyboard: you need a mechanical one already, and the rows left uncovered keep their original caps — twelve keys dress one area, not the whole board. On a membrane keyboard, a low-profile one or a proprietary stem, there is nothing to clip onto. The purple will not light up either: PBT is opaque, the switch light passes around the key and draws a halo, it does not shine through the design. And for all the care given to the mask and the gold, this is an illustration inspired by the League of Legends universe, not a licensed product.

- Claviers compacts 65 %, 75 %, 96 % et 98 touches : leur Maj droite est raccourcie à 1,75U ou 2,25U, la Maj 2,75U du set ne s'y monte pas. Les 7 touches 1U se posent sans difficulté
- Clavier AZERTY ISO : la touche 2U fournie correspond au Retour arrière, pas à la touche Entrée, qui est en L sur un clavier français
- Ne convient pas aux claviers à membrane, aux claviers à touches basses (low profile) ni aux switches à tige propriétaire
- Les légendes ne sont pas rétroéclairées : le PBT est opaque, la lumière du switch passe autour de la touche
- Le profil OEM ne s'aligne pas avec un clavier monté dans un autre profil (Cherry, SA, XDA, DSA) : une marche reste visible
- Création de fan art inspirée de l'univers League of Legends : ce set n'est pas un produit sous licence officielle

Tapis et keycaps : bon usage
- Tapis : une légère odeur de caoutchouc peut être présente à l'ouverture. Elle disparaît en quelques jours à l'air libre.
- Tapis de sol : posez-le sur un sol propre et sec et vérifiez qu'il ne glisse pas.
- Keycaps : petites pièces, ne convient pas aux enfants de moins de 3 ans.

Will this set fit my keyboard?
Pull off any key and look at the switch stem. If it forms a cross, you have an MX cross-stem — Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh, Outemu — and the twelve caps clip straight on. A membrane keyboard, a low-profile one or a proprietary stem will not take them.
What's in the box?
12 keycaps and a keycap puller. The puller grips the original cap by its sides, then the LeBlanc key goes on by hand, with no glue or soldering. Keyboard format (60%, TKL, full-size) is irrelevant: all that matters is the area you choose to dress.
Will the purple fade with use?
The design is dye-sublimated (DYE-SUB): the dye penetrates the material instead of sitting on the surface, so there is no layer that can chip. PBT also avoids the sticky shine that heavily typed ABS keys develop — on a dark base that gloss would show immediately.
Does the set look better on a black or a white keyboard?
Both, but not in the same way. On a black case the purple continues the keyboard and the whole thing reads as one dark piece. On a white case the twelve keys form a contrasted, highly visible block: the way to go if you want the set noticed before the keyboard.
What does the artwork show?
It draws on the visual codes of LeBlanc, the Deceiver: the purple and black of her outfit, the gold of the mask and the robe. It is a graphic interpretation, not a screenshot from the game — the keys read as a pattern, at keyboard distance.
Is Riot Games behind this set?
No. This is an illustration inspired by the League of Legends universe, in no way a licensed product: the game's publisher is not involved. Once fitted, these are ordinary keyboard caps.
