The Spear of Vengeance under your left hand
Kalista is played to the millimetre: every attack shifts the character, and the keyboard works as hard as the mouse. The artwork picks up the spectre of the Spear of Vengeance, her cold blue-greens and her spear tips, in a dark, angular palette. The set is built to stay discreet: you do not dress the whole board, you mark the movement block and the ability keys, the ones your left hand never leaves. The rest of the keyboard keeps its original legends. On a black keyboard the transition is almost invisible; on a white one the play zone is spotted at a glance. It suits players who like a sober desk with a single point of accent.
Twelve keys, one play zone
Nothing is imposed: the 12 keys are standard size and you decide where they go. WASD and the ability keys form the natural block, on AZERTY as on QWERTY, and nothing changes on the hardware side. Fitting is on the MX cross-stem, which covers Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and Outemu: pull off a cap and the raised cross appears. The OEM profile changes height from one row to the next, so each key goes back on an equivalent row, otherwise you feel a step under your fingers. The supplied puller slides in diagonally around the cap and then pulls straight up: everything is done from above, without opening the keyboard.
What the blue-green does not cover
Twelve keys is not a dressed keyboard: the set marks a zone, it does not replace every keycap, and keys with a manufacturer-specific width stay as they are. Nor is it an accessory that acts on the game: a keycap touches neither the switch, nor the travel, nor the response. It is not a set for membrane keyboards or for keyboards with low-profile scissor-mechanism keys, which have no MX cross-stem, nor for a keyboard built in Cherry, XDA or SA profile. And it is not a licensed product: the Kalista artwork is a creation inspired by the League of Legends universe, with no connection to the game's publisher.

- Clavier AZERTY ISO : la touche 2U fournie correspond au Retour arrière, pas à la touche Entrée, qui est en L sur un clavier français
- Ne convient pas aux claviers à membrane, aux claviers à touches basses (low profile) ni aux switches à tige propriétaire
- Les légendes ne sont pas rétroéclairées : le PBT est opaque, la lumière du switch passe autour de la touche

How do I know whether my keyboard is compatible?
Look at the switch under a keycap: a raised MX cross-stem means the 12 keycaps clip onto it, including on Cherry MX, Gateron, Kailh and Outemu. Membrane keyboards and keyboards with low-profile scissor-mechanism keys do not have that stem.
Does the set contain the keys I need?
It includes 12 keys in standard size, with no fixed assignment: WASD, abilities, the top of the movement block, your call. Keys with a manufacturer-specific width are not covered.
Do the original legends stay readable alongside?
Yes, and that is the point of a partial fit. The 12 keys form an island you can find by touch and by eye, while the rest of the keyboard keeps its factory legends. On a dark palette, that island reads through the artwork rather than through characters.
Does the backlight shine through?
No. Dye-sublimated PBT is opaque: light travels around the cap and forms a halo, it does not light the design.
Which other set goes well with this one?
Any set with a cool dominant: blue and green palettes answer each other without competing, whereas a red or orange design on the same keyboard breaks the coherence. A second island on the number pad works well, provided the dye-sublimation print matches.
Is this a Riot Games product?
No. The artwork is a creation inspired by the League of Legends universe, not a licensed product. The set remains a set of keycaps, independent from the game.
