Full description
Haute42 C16: the hitbox with a magnetic panel and an 8000 Hz polling rate
The Haute42 C16 is a leverless controller with 16 buttons whose top panel is magnetic. It keeps the brand's hot-swappable Kailh switches, RGB backlighting and detachable USB-C cable, with a stated polling rate of 8000 Hz.
What it does
- Magnetic top panel: it is held on the case by magnets.
- 16 buttons with Kailh switches: switches rated for 40 million presses, hot-swappable without soldering.
- 8000 Hz polling rate: value stated by the manufacturer for transmitting the button state.
- RGB backlighting: adjustable button lighting.
- Detachable USB-C cable: easy to replace and stored separately for transport.
What it doesn't do
- No lever: this is not a classic arcade stick, directions are played on buttons.
- Wired connection only: no Bluetooth, no battery.
- Xbox is not covered.
- A high polling rate changes nothing if the screen or the game add their own latency.
Compatibility
PS4, PS5, Switch and PC running Windows and Steam, via USB-C. Xbox not covered.
Skill level required
No assembly: plug in the USB-C cable and play. Should you ever want to replace the switches, it is done by hand on the hot-swap sockets. Beginner level.

The move: four fingers instead of a wrist
On a hitbox, left, down and right sit under the fingers of the left hand, and up under the thumb. Inputs are faster and more repeatable than on a lever, which explains this format's place in fighting games. Allow a few hours to find your bearings.
The hardware: the magnetic panel
The C16 stands out with its top panel held by magnets. Otherwise, it keeps the strengths of Haute42 hitboxes: 16 buttons with hot-swappable Kailh switches, RGB backlighting, a detachable USB-C cable and a stated polling rate of 8000 Hz.
The support: a complete setup
The polling rate is only one link in the chain: a screen in game mode matters just as much. If you are hesitating between the C16 and another Haute42 hitbox in the catalogue, write to us: our customer service replies within one business day.

🧲 What is the magnetic panel for?
The controller's top panel attaches to the case with magnets.

Why buy here rather than on a marketplace
It is a fair question. Here is the answer, straight.
Every listing is checked before publication: platforms actually supported, stick technology, connectivity, what the controller does not do. Many models never make it into the catalogue.
A question, a pairing problem, a return: you write, a human replies within 1 business day. In French.
The 2-year legal warranty of conformity is handled by us — not by a form on the other side of the world. And 14 days to change your mind, with no need to justify yourself.
We do not claim to be the cheapest. We claim that you will know exactly what you are buying before you pay.
