Hispeedido GBA shell with battery: rebuilding the console around its IPS screen
Upgrading a Game Boy Advance with an IPS kit is the perfect opportunity to rebuild the whole console. This Hispeedido shell is designed for IPS V2 and V5 modules and comes with a rechargeable battery that takes the place of the AA batteries.
What it does
- Designed for IPS V2 and V5 kits: window and mounts sized for these modules, according to the supplier.
- Rechargeable battery included: no more AA batteries.
- 19 colours: opaque, translucent or two-tone.
What it doesn't do
- The IPS screen is not included: you need an IPS V2 or V5 module in addition.
- Not designed for the original screen: the window is cut for IPS V2 and V5 kits. Other IPS modules are not covered.
- Game Boy Advance format only: neither GBA SP nor Game Boy Micro.
- The shell does not repair the electronics: the motherboard, sound and cartridge slot remain those of your console.
