eXtremeRate RISE4 V3: four more buttons under your fingers, on your PS5 controller

On a standard controller, jumping, reloading or crouching forces you to let go of the right joystick. The eXtremeRate RISE4 V3 kit adds 4 programmable back buttons to the PS5 controller, which you press with the fingers placed under the controller. It replaces the back shell with a soft-touch shell that houses these buttons.

What it does

• 4 back buttons: each one reproduces a controller button of your choice.
• Programmable: the assignment of each back button can be changed.
• Soft-touch back shell: a new shell that integrates the buttons, in thirteen colours.

What it doesn't do

• It only fits PS5 controllers BDM-030, BDM-040 and BDM-050: BDM-010 and BDM-020 are not covered.
• It cannot be installed on the DualSense Edge.
• It does not repair a faulty controller (drifting joystick, worn battery, dead button).
• It does not replace the front shell: only the back shell and the buttons change.

Compatibility

PS5 DualSense controller whose motherboard bears the reference BDM-030, BDM-040 or BDM-050. If you are unsure about your controller's revision, our customer service helps you identify it before ordering. Not covered: BDM-010, BDM-020, DualSense Edge, PS4 controllers.

Skill level required

Intermediate. You need to disassemble the controller (precision Phillips screwdriver, plastic spudger), install the kit's board and the new back shell, then reassemble. If you have never opened a DualSense, write to our customer service before ordering to find out the full procedure.
