Aluminium photo frame: hang a retro poster without making a custom frame
An arcade poster, a pixel art print or a reproduction of a game cover often ends up rolled up in a tube for lack of a frame in the right size. This frame with an aluminium profile comes in eight standard sizes, from 20x30 to 50x50 cm, and in eight finishes, to dress up an office wall or a setup corner without going to a framer.
What it does
- Eight standard sizes: 20x30, 30x30, 30x40, 30x45, 30x50, 40x40, 40x50 and 50x50 cm — the sizes in which most posters and prints are sold.
- Aluminium profile: metal moulding, slimmer than a wooden frame of the same size, in a gallery style that doesn't eat into the image.
- Eight finishes: black walnut, black, white, silver, light gold, T gold and purple gold, to match several frames on the same wall.
What it doesn't do
- It is not supplied with a poster or a print: you receive the frame only, and you provide the image.
- No mount: the manufacturer explicitly states "with photo card: no". The print must therefore be exactly the size of the frame.
- The size is not adjustable. An A3 print (29.7x42 cm) does not fit in the 30x40 cm frame without being trimmed.
- The exact nature of the front panel (glass or acrylic) and the hanging system supplied are not documented by the manufacturer — to be confirmed before planning how you will mount it on the wall.
- It is not a light box or a digital frame: no electronics, no backlighting.
Compatibility
Compatible with any poster or paper print cut to the exact size of the chosen frame: 20x30, 30x30, 30x40, 30x45, 30x50, 40x40, 40x50 or 50x50 cm. No size outside this list is covered — A4 (21x29.7 cm) and A3 (29.7x42 cm) do not match any of these sizes. Nor is it suitable for a canvas already mounted on a stretcher, or for a raised object such as a framed controller or cartridge.
Skill level required
None. The print is inserted by hand, without tools. You will, however, need something to fix the frame to the wall depending on your surface: a hook, a wall plug and a drill for plasterboard or concrete — this hardware is not supplied.

Get your posters out of the tube
Most arcade posters, pixel art prints and game cover reproductions stay rolled up in their tube for months: finding a frame in the right size often costs more than the print itself.
