A console stored flat in a box gathers dust and gets scratched against its neighbours. This clear acrylic display stand holds it upright, screen visible, on a shelf or desk. It's aimed at collectors who want to display their handheld consoles without fixing or modifying them: the console just sits on it and is back in your hands in a second.
What it does
- Upright support: the console rests on its base, screen facing forward, instead of being stacked flat.
- Clear acrylic: the stand fades into the background — you see the shell and the screen, not the stand.
- No modification needed: no screws, no glue, no disassembly — the console stays original and comes off whenever you like.
What it doesn't do
- It is not a closed display case: the stand has no lid and no protection against dust or UV.
- It doesn't charge or power the console: no electrical contacts, no ports.
- It doesn't lock the console in place: on a shelf exposed to knocks or pets, the machine can be pushed off the base.

Compatibility

Each reference N1 to N4 corresponds to a base format: a clamshell console doesn't sit on the same stand as a one-piece console. Home consoles, controllers and modern handheld consoles such as Anbernic or Retroid are not intended for this stand — their dimensions don't match.

None. No soldering, no disassembly, no tools. The stand comes out of the box and goes straight on the shelf; some acrylic models arrive with a protective film on the faces, to be removed before use. Allow less than a minute to set it up.

A collection worth looking at
A Game Boy Color in a drawer no longer really exists. Stood upright on a base, at eye level, it becomes an object again that you look at and show off. The stand changes nothing about the console: it changes the place it takes in your home. It's the difference between a pile of second-hand stock and a collection you're proud of.
Acrylic, not printed plexi
The stand is cut from a clear acrylic sheet, with no pattern or logo. That's deliberate: on a shelf, a coloured base steals the show from the machine it holds. Here the eye goes to the shell, the screen and the original screen printing. Four cut-outs exist, N1 to N4, to cater for clamshell formats as well as one-piece designs.
What it doesn't replace
A display stand is not a display case. It holds the console upright, it doesn't enclose it: dust settles, light keeps yellowing light-coloured shells, and a machine sitting out is still a machine that can be knocked over. If your room gets sun or a lot of people passing through, plan for a closed display case in addition to the base. We'd rather say so before you buy.
