Its reason to exist: the jiggler mode
A jiggler keeps up a minimal amount of cursor activity. The result: the session does not lock, the screen does not switch off, the messaging status does not flip to away. This is an office use, not a gaming use: a long download, a video render, a presentation running on a loop, a machine you do not want locking every five minutes. It is the only thing that really sets this model apart.
