What it is
A tempered glass cut for the 5.5-inch AMOLED screen of the Retroid Pocket 5. This is a touchscreen: the cut and the surface finish matter here, unlike on Linux consoles with a non-touch screen.
Why €19.90 and not €9.90
Our €9.90 protectors cover 3.2 to 4-inch screens, i.e. 30 to 50 cm². This one covers 5.5 inches in 16:9, about 83 cm²: nearly double, on a 1080p touchscreen. The twin pack works out at €16.45 each.
What it doesn't do
The supplier mentions high hardness but gives no figure: unlike our RG35XX Pro glass, 9H is not documented here. The thickness isn't stated either. The glass covers the screen, not the shell or the triggers.

Will this glass fit a console other than the Retroid Pocket 5?
No. The cut follows the 5.5-inch screen of the Retroid Pocket 5. Neither the Retroid Pocket Mini, nor the RP4 Pro, nor the RP6 has the same panel.
Why does it cost twice as much as the other protectors in the catalogue?
Because the area to cover is about twice as large: around 83 cm² for a 5.5-inch panel in 16:9, versus 30 to 50 cm² for the 3.2 to 4-inch screens of Linux consoles.
How many protectors are in the box?
One at €19.90, or two at €32.90. The application kit (wet wipe, microfibre cloth, positioning stickers) is included in both cases.
What hardness is stated?
The supplier states a high hardness without putting a figure on it. We therefore don't claim 9H on this page, for lack of manufacturer data.
