Four devices, one mouse, eleven buttons
The MT760M pairs with four devices at once: a 2,4 GHz nano dongle and three Bluetooth channels. A button switches from one to the other, with no re-pairing. Rapoo adds eleven programmable buttons, including a magnetic-induction side wheel, plus the M+ function: push the cursor to the edge of the screen and you move over to the other computer and copy a file across. It is a multi-machine office tool first and a gaming mouse second.
PAW3220 and 4000 DPI: an office-grade sensor
The sensor is a PixArt PAW3220 capped at 4000 DPI. It is an office-grade component: enough for any everyday use and for casual gaming, but below the PAW3395 at 26 000 DPI and 650 IPS found on the gaming mice on this page. The USB-C port is for charging only: there is no wired fallback mode if the battery is empty. Rapoo states 800 mAh and up to 90 days of use.
Who it is not for
To competitive FPS players: 4000 DPI and an office sensor are no substitute for a PAW3395. To those who want a wired backup mode: the USB-C only charges. To left-handers: the thumb rest is molded on the right. To those looking for a light mouse: 88 g is 30 g more than a modern gaming mouse. And to those buying for the lighting: there is none.
