Is this the G502 X or the wireless G502?
Neither. This is the wired G502 HERO (HERO 25K sensor). The G502 X, the G502 X Plus and the G502 LIGHTSPEED are different models, with other switches and other prices.
Is it suitable for left-handers?
No. Its shape is right-handed ergonomic, with a thumb rest and side buttons on the left only. There is no left-handed version.
What exactly does it weigh?
121 g without the additional weights. The 5 supplied 3.6 g weights let you go up to 139 g and spread out where they sit. It is a heavy mouse: today's esports models often drop below 60 g.
Do you need to install software?
Not for basic use. Logitech G HUB (Windows and macOS) is there to remap the 11 buttons and set the DPI steps and the lighting. Once the settings are saved in onboard memory, up to 5 profiles follow you to a PC with no software installed.
Is the cable detachable?
No. The braided 2.1 m USB-A cable is fixed. Reviewers find it fairly stiff: a mouse bungee noticeably improves the feel.
How long do the clicks last?
Logitech publishes no official figure for click durability on the G502 HERO. The switches are Omron mechanical. We would rather not display a value the manufacturer does not guarantee.
