Two wireless modes, two uses
Bluetooth is for Android phones and Windows PCs. The 2,4 GHz receiver, supplied in the box, is for devices that do not pair easily over Bluetooth: TV boxes and the PS3. That is what this dongle exists for, and the reason not to lose it. iPega states a range of 8 metres and 30 days of standby on a full charge.
The phone holder: 4 to 6 inches
The holding arm folds out above the controller and pivots to adjust the angle. iPega documents it for phones from 4 to 6 inches. That is the limit to check before buying: a recent 6,7-inch smartphone with its case often goes beyond that range. Measure the width of your phone, case included, before ordering.
What it is not
This is not a Nintendo Switch controller: the iPega manual only lists Android, Windows, the PS3 and TV boxes. It is not a PS4 or PS5 controller either. It does not vibrate and has no gyroscope; iPega states neither of them. On the iPhone side, iPega only documents iOS for mainland China. If what you have in mind is the Switch or a recent PlayStation, this model is not the right one.

Does it work on Nintendo Switch?
The official iPega manual does not mention the Nintendo Switch. The documented platforms are Android, Windows, the PS3 and TV boxes. If your main use is the Switch, choose a model that states it explicitly.
Does it work on PS4 or PS5?
No. Only the PS3 is documented by iPega, and only through the supplied 2,4 GHz receiver. The PS4 and PS5 do not accept this controller.
Will my smartphone fit in the holder?
The holder is documented for phones from 4 to 6 inches. Beyond that, in particular on recent large formats with a case, a secure hold is not guaranteed. Measure the width of your phone before ordering.
Is there vibration or a gyroscope?
No. iPega states neither vibration nor a gyroscope on the 9076. Force feedback and motion aiming are not available.
What is the supplied USB receiver for?
That is the 2,4 GHz mode. You plug it into a PS3, a TV box or a PC, and the controller connects to it without going through Bluetooth. Keep it safe: without it, those devices are no longer reachable.
Does it work on iPhone?
iPega only documents the iOS mode for mainland China. iPhone compatibility is therefore not guaranteed on a European device. To play on iPhone, go for a controller explicitly certified for iOS.
