Brimstone: warm tones instead of neon
Brimstone leads from the map: he lays his smokes, marks a zone, calls the orbital strike and lets his team move in. He is the veteran of the roster, and his palette says exactly that — burnt orange, khaki, brown and beige, earthy tones with nothing neon about them. Which is why this set does not belong where you would expect: it clashes with a black-and-blue gaming setup, but settles in beautifully on a wooden desk, a beige or off-white keyboard, with amber lighting or none at all. It is a set for the team player, the one who organises rather than entries — and for a desk that has no wish to blink.
Light tones: dirt first, sizes second
With beige and khaki, the recurring question is fingerprints. Two things work in your favour: PBT is harder and rougher than the original ABS, so it shines up more slowly and keeps its matte surface; and the dye-sublimated pattern sits inside the material, which means you can rub without wearing it away. For the rest, the manufacturer states 14 keys in five sizes — 1U (1.8 × 1.8 cm), Caps Lock 1.75U (3.15 cm), Backspace 2U (3.6 cm), Enter 2.25U (4.05 cm), spacebar 6.25U (11.25 cm) — in ANSI widths. The list of legends is not published: rely on the product photos.
An add-on set, not a matching keyboard
A warm, restrained palette suggests a fully coordinated keyboard: that is not what you get. Fourteen keycaps land on a keyboard that has more than a hundred, and the original keys left around them will match neither in shade nor in texture — with beige and khaki the gap shows more than it would on black, so be warned. Nor is it a backlit set: the dye-sublimated legends let no LED light through. Compatibility demands an MX cross-stem — no membrane, low-profile or laptop keyboard — and the spacebar will not go on Costar stabilisers. Finally, it is not a licensed product: fan art from a third-party manufacturer. Keycap puller not included.

A soft, slightly damp cloth, often rather than thoroughly: on light shades a mark shows early and comes off easily. Since the pattern is sublimated into the material, rubbing does not reach it, and the matte surface of PBT hides marks better than glossy plastic. No solvents.
