Description complète
Controller stand: your controller finally has a place on the desk
A controller lying flat on a desk slides, falls and ends up taking the knocks on its sticks. This universal desk stand holds it upright, grips facing down, in a moulded plastic cradle. No assembly, no screws: put the stand down, put the controller on it.
What it does
- Held by shape: the cradle fits the two grips of a modern controller, so the controller stays upright instead of lying around flat.
- Instant setup: one-piece design, to place on a desk or shelf. Nothing to screw, nothing to glue, nothing to plug in.
- Two colours: white or black, to choose before ordering. The price is the same for both.
What it doesn't do
- It doesn't charge. No electronics, no USB port, no charging contacts: it's a passive stand, not a dock.
- It doesn't lock the controller in place. The controller simply rests in the cradle; a desk stand is neither an anti-theft system nor a wall mount.
- It doesn't suit every shape. A flat controller without grips, like a rectangular retro pad, won't sit in a cradle designed for two grips.
- The supplier listing states “accessory type: speaker”. That is a translation error in the source: the product makes no sound.
Compatibility
Designed for controllers with two grips of a common shape: current home console controllers, Bluetooth wireless controllers such as the 8BitDo Pro, retro controllers with grips. Compatibility comes down to shape, not brand: nothing to pair, nothing to configure. Flat Famicom, NES or SNES-style pads, as well as arcade sticks, are not covered. The exact dimensions of the cradle are not provided by the manufacturer.
Skill level required
None. No assembly, no tools, no soldering. Take the stand out of the box and set it down: installation takes a few seconds.
In the box
- 1 controller stand, in the chosen colour.

The controller never had a place
In a retro setup, everything ends up with a stand: the console on its shelf, the games in their cases, the headset on its hook. The controller, though, stays flat on the desk, between the keyboard and the mug. It slides, it falls, and the sticks take the hit. A vertical cradle sorts this out quite simply: the controller stands upright, visible, and you find it without searching.
One piece, no electronics
It's a stand moulded in a single piece, with no cable, no charging contacts and no electronics. The upside is a pleasant one: nothing can fail and nothing depends on a specific controller model. Compatibility comes down purely to the shape of the grips, which makes it just as useful next to a recent console as next to a collector's machine.
What you need to know before ordering
Let's say it straight away: this stand doesn't charge and doesn't lock the controller in place. So it replaces neither a charging station nor a wall mount. Flat pads without grips, such as Famicom or SNES pads, won't sit in the cradle. Finally, the manufacturer doesn't provide the exact dimensions: if your controller is out of the ordinary, write to us before ordering, reply within 1 business day.
