PSP 2000 / 3000 battery cover: the door that no longer stays shut, replaced in a minute
On a PSP Slim, the battery door is the first part to give up: the small plastic tabs break, the cover pops off as soon as you handle the console and the battery ends up shifting mid-game. This replacement back cover is a new moulded part that clips on by hand, available in fifteen colours including several translucent shades.
What it does
- Closes the compartment: new tabs grip the shell again, so the battery stays pressed firmly in place.
- Fits without tools: the door clips on and off just like the original part — no screws, no soldering, no taking the console apart.

The part that breaks first
