Acrylic stand: your console on show, at the angle you want
A handheld console lying flat in a display cabinet can't be seen, and propped against a book it eventually slides down. This clear acrylic stand holds it upright, screen facing you, with an adjustable angle: use it to display a collector's piece or to rest the console on a desk while it charges. It also holds a controller or a smartphone.
What it does
- Adjustable angle: several tilt positions, so you can deal with glare on the screen depending on the height of your shelf or desk.
- Clear acrylic: the stand visually fades away, so you see the console rather than the display stand — handy in a cabinet or on a collection shelf.
- Versatile: the cradle shape suits handheld consoles, controllers and a phone; it isn't a stand cut for a single model.
What it doesn't do
- It is neither protection nor a display case: the stand shows off the console, it doesn't protect it from dust or a fall.
- No electrical function: no USB port, no charging, no dock. The console still needs to be plugged in as usual.
- It isn't moulded for a specific machine. A very thick or very heavy console, or one fitted with a protective case, may sit less securely than a bare console.
- Acrylic scratches: clean with a dry microfibre cloth, without solvents or glass cleaner.

Get the console out of the drawer
A Game Boy Advance or a PSP spends most of its life lying flat, in a box or at the back of a shelf. You take it out twice a year and forget you even have it.
